Makom Afterschool is for children in JK through Grade 5, and students can start at any age, regardless of Hebrew knowledge. We welcome students starting in Junior Kindergarten, provided they are completely potty-trained and able to participate fully in class. (If you have children in Grades 6-8, check out Makom ATID!)
If your child has an individualized learning plan or needs specific teaching approaches, please speak to Adina before registration to make sure Makom Afterschool is right for your child.
We accept registrations from early spring through the beginning of the school year, but will accept additional registrations once the school year begins if space allows. We do, however, often have a wait-list. Makom Afterschool runs September to June, concurrent with the school year. If you are moving or have other special circumstances, please contact us to discuss.

In a case where a student is asked to leave Makom Afterschool for disciplinary reasons, all tuition fees will be forfeit, including the registration deposit. No refund will be issued. (We will first work with the child, their teacher, and their family to address any issues; students will be asked to leave only as a last resort.)
No exceptions will be made to this policy.
We are hoping and planning for a September return to safe in-person learning! We will follow public health guidelines to prioritize the safety of our students and staff.
If public health restrictions prevent us from meeting in person, parents may choose to enrol in a online program or to receive a full refund.
Please review our payment and refund policies (above) before registering.
