I wanted our kids to have a different kind of Jewish education, one that was meaningful and soulful, but at the same time inclusive and reflective of the diversity that is my family life and my broader community.

Sharry

Parent of two 9-year-old students

It’s fun and it’s challenging. I like Makom as an after school program because it’s not just playing and games. It’s learning Hebrew.

Yona

Student, age 7

The fact that they are spending up to 8 hours a week doing play based Hebrew immersion programming is incredible to me. To me, it’s comparable to what they might be getting some day school environments.

Sarah

Parent of 7-year-old student

It’s been an amazing experience to see my sons grow in the program.

Miriam

Parent of 6-year-old and 10-year-old students

It’s a positive, fun experience for the kids. They enjoy being here.
